BOUNCY CASTLE AND INFLATABLE HIRE
Q: Has the castle got a roof?

A: All our units are fitted with shower covers unless otherwise stated, but we must point out that they only offer
limited protection from bad weather.
The dome-style units are far better in the rain than the traditional-style units.
Q: Does the castle have to be plugged in?

A: Yes. We require a standard 13amp socket to plug the unit in.
The socket should be located no more than 50m from where the unit is to be sited.
We always provide RCD circuit breakers.
Q: Does the unit have to set up on grass?

A: No. We can set up most of our inflatables on any smooth and level surface.
However, certain units, because of their size and design can only be anchored to a grass or turf surface.
Those units are GARDEN CLOWN, ALFIE THE ALIEN, SUPER SLIDE and SLIP SLIDE
Q: What if it rains on the day?

A: In the event of very bad weather our delivery team will call you on the morning of the booking to confirm whether you still want us to deliver. In cases of torrential rain/ thunderstorms we will actually cancel the booking and phone you at the earliest possible time. This is done purely for safety reasons.  We make no charge for cancelled bookings.
Q: Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

A: Yes. All our inflatables carry 1 million pounds Public Liability Cover.
This covers the unit for any mishap which may occur due to the unit being faulty.
IT DOES NOT COVER ACCIDENTS WHICH MAY OCCUR DUE TO HUMAN ERROR, MIS-USE OF THE UNIT OR LACK OF PROPER SUPERVISION.
IT IS DOWN TO YOU, AS THE CUSTOMER TO MAKE SURE THE UNIT IS PROPERLY SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES AND THAT THE TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE WE GIVE YOU ARE PROPERLY ADHERED TO.

A copy of our insurance certificate is always available for inspection at our offices.
We require a written letter on headed paper from any company or organisation requiring a copy of our insurance details.
Q: How do I pay?

A: Payment should be made, IN CASH, to our Delivery Supervisor when the castle is delivered.
We accept cheques, but these must be received at least 7 working days before the date of the booking.
Please contact our office if you intend to pay by cheque.
A receipted invoice will be issued upon request.
Q: When will the inflatable be delivered?

A: We commence our deliveries daily at 7am and always aim to complete all deliveries by 1pm.
Our collections start at 6pm and we follow the same route as for delivery, therefore units delivered first will be collected first. This ensures all hires are of a similar duration.
Should you require delivery or collection at a specific time, we will always do our best to oblige, but may have to charge an additional £7 for this service, especially at busy times of the year.
Q: Do you charge for delivery?

A: As a rule, no. We operate a free delivery service to all Leeds postcode areas as long as customers are willing to receive their unit(s) anywhere between 7am and 1pm, and are willing to have the unit(s) collected after 6pm.
We may require a £7 booking fee if you want to order your unit(s) for a specific delivery or collection time.

Should you be outside the Leeds district, please enquire with our office.

Q: Do you stay with the unit?

A: No. Once you are happy with the set up and safe operation of the equipment, our staff will leave you with it until they come to collect.
We do not accept bookings which require staff members to supervise the unit.
Q: How much does it cost to run the castle all day.

A: The castle runs on a 750w motor, and therefore costs less than 10p per hour to run.

Q: Can the inflatable be used indoors?

A: Yes. All our inflatables can be used indoors, subject to the minimum sizes stated in their description.
We ask that you make sure there is at least 2ft space all around the unit to give it space to move and also to allow access to all parts.
PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL ABOUT HEIGHT!!!
Q: Do I have to leave the castle plugged in?

A: Yes. Even in bad weather the unit should be left inflated until our delivery team arrive to collect it.
Q: My event is in a field & has no electric supply.
Can you still supply a castle?

A: We can run units off a generator or a petrol fueled blower, but this MUST BE SUPPLIED BY THE CUSTOMER.
We recommend you use at least a 3kva generator for a normal, single unit.
Moonwalk (dome-style units) require 2 fans, and so we recommend at least a 5kva generator for such units.
WE RECOMMEND THE USE OF DIESAL GENERATORS AS THESE ARE FAR LESS DANGEROUS THAN PETROL ONES. PLEASE ALSO BEAR IN MIND THAT MOST LOCAL AUTHORITIES (ie: Leeds City Council) WILL NOT ALLOW PETROL GENERATORS TO BE USED ON THEIR PROPERTY.

N.B: kva relates to the power output of a generator. The size of the engine powering the generator has no bearing on the power output.
Q: I need to cancel the booking for another reason.
How do I go about it?

A: After over 15 years in the inflatable hire business, we realise that situations can change very rapidly and not only because of the weather.
All we ask is that you phone or email our office as soon as you can if you wish to cancel your booking.
Our hire lines (0113 239 4087) is available from 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week and if you do have to leave a message, it will normally be dealt with within 30 minutes. Our email service is checked regularly throughout the whole week.
We make no charge for cancelled bookings.
Q: My party doesn't start until late afternoon. How long can I have the unit for?

A: We charge the same amount for hires between the hours of 7am and 8pm, no matter what hours you'd like the unit for (so in theory hiring an adult castle from 7am to 8pm will cost the same as hiring it from 2pm to 4pm)
We are able to supply units overnight, or for weekends, subject to availability. Please check online booking & availability for dates and prices.
We require a £50 refundable deposit for any unit hired overnight or for the weekend. The deposit will be refunded upon our collection of the unit in a clean, undamaged condition.
